Removing moss from sidewalks requires a different approach than removing moss from lawns. Conversely, foam is easier to detect and control on a hard surface. And while you might cover feature walls and statues in moss (and seaweed, lichen, and liverworts) and might even actively cultivate a moss garden in another part of the yard, you want to quickly remove the moss from your patio because it's a slippery hazard only gets worse over time.
Chances are that one of the garden maintenance tasks you need to do right now is removing moss from your deck. Most decking has a problem with moss somewhere - it grows anywhere it can take root, often between pavers or on the surface of slabs where the soil has been soaked over the winter, where it's damp, damp and shady.
